帶橫梁的四柱系統
Gimbal Piston支腿或剛性支腿
對于大部分的光學平臺選擇是帶有安全橫梁的4柱系統。根據隔振系統或者剛性支腿、是否帶腳輪、不同高度、不同負載來進行選擇。普通底板或者調平底板也可供選擇。

帶橫梁的六柱系統
Gimbal Piston支腿和剛性支腿
對于長度大于10英尺(3米)的平臺使用帶有連接橫梁的6-Post系統支撐是好的。除了承重能力高以外，平臺的結構特性也會隨著額外支持點的增加而增強。
如何選型:
1、確定是否需要隔振或是剛性、無共振支腿就可以滿足。
2、選擇是否需要腳輪。
3、在選型表的左側選擇被支撐平臺的尺寸。
4、在對應的列中選擇相應的產品型號。
5、根據期望的桌面高度以及平臺的厚度在高度代碼的目錄中選擇相應的高度代碼H。
6、通過計算光學平臺的重量加上儀器的重量來確定合適負載的支腿。平臺的重量等于平臺的面積和桌面選型表下面的重量系數的乘積。
當支腿高度大于18in.時才可以使用腳輪。
